Elizka Relief Foundation is a capacity building and human empowerment non-governmental organization legally registered and based in Ghana.
The core principle of the organization is promotion of Human Rights – “the right to development and leaving no one and place behind” – with its priority areas being Agriculture for Development (A4D), Information Communication for Development (ICT4D), Research for Development (R4D), and Community Development.
The areas of special interest to the organization are i) Education (ii) Health (iii) Climate Change (iv) Arts (Youth and Culture), (v) Cultural Diversity (Exchange Programs), (vi) Child Survival and Development, (vii) Water and Sanitation (viii) Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (ix) Rural Infrastructure Development, (x) Women in Development and (xi) Food security.
The organization has Special Consultative Status (since 2015) with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC) and accredited Observer status to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change ( UNFCCC), ,United Nations Convention to Combat Diversification (UNCCD),Green Climate Fund (GCF), United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Global Network of Civil Society Organizations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR), Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons(OPCW), Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), International Whaling Commission (IWC) and Global Environment Facility (GEF)
Moreover, it is accredited to the Vienna NGO Committee on Drugs,Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons(OPCW), Global Network of Civil Society Organizations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR)and the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN).
