EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

KOFI KANKAM
Kofi Kankam directs the overarching strategic vision, international compliance portfolios, and daily operations of the Elizka Relief Foundation. Under his leadership, the Foundation has secured key consultative and observer credentials across the United Nations system and active alignments within the World Health Organization (WHO) Civil Society Commission. Actively engaged in regional governance, he coordinates regional civil society operations for the African Regional Mechanism for Major Groups and Other Stakeholders (ARMMGoS). Operating primarily within Ghana, he directs environmental conservation and community development projects, advocating for the integration of traditional leadership with research-driven field interventions to address complex ecological degradation like illegal mining (galamsey).

International Relations Manager
Charlotte manages the Foundation’s diplomatic linkages and international liaison portfolios. She coordinates our active participation within United Nations consultative forums, treaties, and intergovernmental sessions, amplifying the voices of grassroots African civil society on the global stage.

Head of SDGs / Agenda 2063 Desk
Salamatu drives the alignment of the Foundation’s localized initiatives with global and regional policy frameworks. She is responsible for mapping our research outputs directly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the African Union's Agenda 2063, ensuring our community data informs national and continental development dialogues.

JOSEPHINE EDU
Head of Resource Mobilization and Sustainability Unit
Josephine leads the strategic planning and execution of our fund development, grant-making coordination, and institutional partnerships. She focuses on securing diverse, sustainable revenue streams—ranging from international development allocations to green-collar social enterprises—to power our long-term programmatic operations.

Head of Media Relations Outfit
Erica leads our communication strategy, media outreach, and public-facing publications. She translates scientific research and environmental data collected on the ground into accessible, high-impact public awareness campaigns that champion human rights, public health, and ecological justice.

Programmes Director
Kofi oversees the technical design, deployment, and monitoring of all field projects across our operational pillars. He coordinates the deployment of field teams executing nature-based land reclamation, climate-smart aquaculture initiatives, and digital connectivity (ICT4D) platforms across our target communities.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors serves as our non-executive governing body, providing fiduciary oversight, strategic direction, and policy alignment under the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) of the Republic of Ghana

A chartered finance professional managing budgetary health, internal auditing systems, and ensuring compliance with local and international donor regulations.
Board Legal Counsel / Secretary
Ensures absolute statutory compliance with the Registrar of Companies in Ghana and oversees the security and legal execution of the Corporate Seal.
