
Josephine Edu is a Proposal Development Officer and Project Support professional at Elizka Relief Foundation, where she supports the design, development, and implementation of impactful community and youth-focused development initiatives. She contributes to high-quality proposal development, project coordination, and documentation for donor-funded programmes aimed at advancing inclusive and sustainable development outcomes.
She is a seasoned mentor, business coach, and ecosystem development practitioner with over seven years of experience in entrepreneurship development, MSME support, and digital skills training. Josephine has directly trained and supported over 2,000 startups, helping entrepreneurs strengthen business models, improve operations, and scale sustainably. She has also trained over 1,000 young people through a Ghana Enterprise Agency programme funded by the Mastercard Foundation, focusing on entrepreneurship, digital skills, and employability.
Her work aligns strongly with key Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 1, SDG 4, SDG 5, SDG 8, SDG 9, and SDG 17, through practical interventions that promote youth employment, women’s economic empowerment, digital inclusion, and MSME growth.
Josephine also serves as a Google Workspace Trainer, equipping individuals and organizations with essential digital tools to improve productivity, collaboration, and business efficiency.
She has contributed to ecosystem development and innovation programmes through collaborations with organizations such as GIZ, AfriLabs, MEST Africa, Ghana Hubs Network, Social Enterprise Ghana, and AfriConEU, supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and incubation initiatives across Africa and beyond.
She also brings experience as a Community Reviewer with Cardano Community, contributing to proposal evaluation and decentralized governance in emerging digital ecosystems. Previously, she served as an International Business Ambassador at the University of Leipzig, strengthening her global exposure and cross-cultural engagement skills.
Josephine is committed to advancing inclusive development through mentorship, digital empowerment, and enterprise support systems that help MSMEs and young entrepreneurs access opportunities, build resilience, and grow sustainably.
